Jóhann Jóhannsson was an Emmy- and Golden Globe-winning Icelandic composer, musician, and producer, best known for his Oscar-nominated original scores for the films The Theory of Everything (2014) and Sicario (2015), as well as the Grammy-nominated score for Arrival (2016). He also released several albums, including Drone Mass (2015) and Orphée (2016).
